Globally, 830 women die every day from pregnancy or childbirth-related risks, WHO reports. Often, these deaths occur in settings that don't have access to appropriate healthcare facilities and the knowledge required to make informed health decisions. Taking this thought further, we organised our programme - #everymother - a step towards educating mothers on maternal health.  

 

Held at New Delhi's Vasant Gaon on February 26, Tuesday, we witnessed a crowd of eager mothers who were ready to learn. However, there was a section of people who believed in the several myths associated with family planning, modern contraception methods, & had issues with infertility, all of which were addressed by Dr. Niharika Thakur, the gynecologist. 

 

We hope we are able to bridge this gap with necessary knowledge and impact million more mothers & women.
